These pictures were taken in September of 2008 during ShowdownLAN in Peoria, IL. The event was hosted by FutureUS the parent company of Maximum PC and PC Gamer Magazines. Over 500 gamers brought in their own computers to play compete against each other in PC games for various prizes. I convinced my friend Matt, Clayton, Brian, Kelly, Bob, Josh, and Scott to attend the event with me. My mother attended ShowdownLAN in Worcester, MA as a spectator earlier in 2008 and decided to join us in this event. Brian's girlfriend Jayme also attended as a spectator. We did not do so good in the competition, but some of our team took home prizes. Everyone had a great time.
