In 2007 I decided to attend ShowdownLAN in Indianapolis, IN. This was the first time ShowdownLAN was held outside of California. ShowdownLAN is a bring your own computer gaming competition where people compete for various prizes. I could not talk my friends into going with me, but I eventually talked my wife Jennifer into going with me. She mostly watched me play and played Peggle. She did play in some of the challenges that were not PC game related. I won many prizes for various challenges and games, but did not win any tournaments. I had a great time.
