LAN Parties
The LAN parties section is a collection of pictures taken when my friends and I got together to play computer games. The amount of parties have dwindled, since we all acquired faster internet and began playing more games online. LAN Parties were more of a necessity when we all had dialup internet.
ShowdownLAN IN
ShowdownLAN in Indianapolis, IN in September 2007, was the first of three ShowdownLAN parties I attended. I could not convince my friends to go with me, so Jennifer went with me. I won many prizes and had a great time.
ShowdownLAN MA
ShowdownLAN in Worcester, MA in September of 2008, was the second of three ShowdownLAN parties I attended. I still could not convince my friends to go, so I talked Jennifer and my mother into going with me. Again, I won a lot of prizes and had a wonderful time.
ShowdownLAN IL
ShowdownLAN in Peoria, IL in late September of 2008, was the third and final ShowdownLAN party I attended. With all the winnings from the previous two parties and all my ravings of good times, I was able to talk my friends into going with me. It was a good thing, since this was the last ShowdownLAN to be coordinated.
PDXLAN Parties
PDXLAN is a collection of photos from LAN parties in Portland, OR. On a couple occasions, I had the opportunity to attend these events while on a company trip.
Sumo Wrestling
On October 10th in 2007 during lunch, Jennifer and her co-worker Jesse decided to go next door to the salon to participate in Sumo Wrestling. They spent more time rolling on the ground than they did wrestling.
